Safety and what to bring

Exercise involves risk, and your safety is important. Please read this before your first class.

The safety rules

  1. Tell your instructor about any old injuries, chronic conditions or recent surgery before class.
  2. Pregnant clients must not attend group classes. We recommend a private class.
  3. Don't join a class on an empty or overly full stomach.
  4. Stop immediately if you feel dizziness, pain or discomfort.
  5. Always move within your own ability, and avoid overexertion.

On the equipment

Be careful of springs and moving parts, to avoid pinching injuries. Keep your balance at all times, as there's a risk of slipping or falling. Move with control and don't rush. Follow your instructor's guidance, and don't use any equipment until they've shown you how. If you're unsure at any point or feel any discomfort, stop and tell your instructor.

What to wear and bring

Slightly tight-fitting workout clothes, anti-slip socks (required), a water bottle and a towel.

Pregnancy

Our group classes aren't suitable during pregnancy. WhatsApp us to book a private class instead.

Injuries and medical conditions

For major medical conditions, please check with your doctor before attending. For minor issues, let your instructor know at the start of class.
